What is the general opinion on brake pads? Which one work the best in autox? I do not need compromise, since I use the car (3rd gen Rx7 - weight approx. 3,800 lb, ABS equipped) exclusively to autox.

I've been using Hawk HP+ (there isn't an HPS +) on my Integra for the last year and like them a lot. It's got great initial bite when cold, and they'll stop you even better when warm. They dust a lot

I agree with the comments on the Hawk HP Plus. They seem good at Auto-X and I never think twice about them during extended lapping sessions at a roadcourse. They last fine. On the other hand, Hawk's

I'll throw another pad into the mix here that I've had great experiences with the Porterfield R4S on my Integra Type R. Good heat range (safe when cold), spectactular when hot, excellent pedal feel.

The closest you can find to "stock" OEM. You want a high quality STREET pad. Hawk HPS work very well on my autocross formula ford plus there is a bonus . . . essentially no dust. They modulate well,
