BINGO! You must prime the pump first. Maybe not. If you have the motor out of the car, it might be possible to prime the pump by pouring oil through the oil filter passage which runs between the fil

I have heard that a good alternative is to pack the oil pump with wheel bearing grease. I'd use plain old lithium-based grease (not the white stuff), not moly grease. Of course this requires that th

After you get the distributor drive out, a 1/4' drive extension with a slot filed across it works well when chucked into a drill. Be prepared for a little oil outside the desired area though.
