I am in the final stages of my three year restoration of my 74 TR6. I am putting in a new wiring harness and I am connecting up the tail lights. My problem is with the bulb holders for the stop light

My bulb holders are plastic with metal ground fingers where you plug it in to the hole and if you pull both of them, they will not come on. If you touch one of the fingers to a ground then they will
