mike, it is cheaper to listen to valves than to have themn burn. we always did this at our dealership and still do on any cars today. if they are "really" noisy, go back through and recheck clearance

chris, we make a high toprque gear reduction starter, but i am not sure that is your problem. if your starter is good and you have a good connection, the engine should turn over quickly. you haven't

you use the spit bellhousing. cut about 3/4" from the input shaft so it si the same length as the spit. we supply a clutch disc with the correct spline for the gt6 and a spitfire diameter. ted
