And in my expirience, the steering lock doesn't make it much harder to steal (or drive without the key). It just makes it a lot harder to do without damaging the car. Theres a big difference. In the

Have you adjusted the the rear shoes as specified by the manual ? The adjusters have 'clicks' and if you leave an adjuster between clicks, the breaks can drag even though you do not have any pedal. I
