- Just checked out your web site. You are right, the shifter location is not Is the "stock" 4 speed shifter location to which you refer located on the floor pan where the circular indentions are formed

- Actually setting up the clutch was fairly easy for me. All I did was use the stock 235 clutch with a 1984 Camero 14 spline clutch disc. Once you have a stock clutch that fits your stock flywheel then

- I would think that the indentation is the stock location. Since mine had a stock granny gear floor shift I bought a new trans cover that is for a column shift and then cut the hole for the T5 shifte

- Take alook at a saginaw 4 speed. Patricks produces a shifter for that transmission that puts the stick in the right position but you loose your backup light switch. I am running the saginaw in my 49
