- i have a 73 cbb roadster. the dpo painted the valve cover silver!!! i've stripped it, and am ready to paint it black. hmm. wasn't that a song??? anyway, is it just a gloss black? what's the recommen

- Whatever you paint it with, be sure to clean it well and prime it first. The things called self etching primers are good for this (rattle can variety). I would choose a satin finish if painting this
