- I found a bad race that had ruined the hub. Replaced the hub, race, bearings etc. then found a slightly warped disc. Machined that. Put it all back together and the clunk, thunk or ghost noise was go

- Your hot start problem is common around here. Try putting your pressure guage to 2 lbs. Check to see if the asbestos has fallen awary from your heat shield. Sounds to me like the dreded vapor lock. T
