Bruce, What year is your MG? The green/white wire is for the ballast resistor bypass, and your starter doesn't have a provision for this function. The Brown/white wire is from the starter relay. With

absolutely (in DSP Kevin, Thanks for the info, that's good information to have. Assuming the pistons/rods weigh 2 pounds each, that means the block weighs 65 pounds, or 36 pounds less than I guessed

AMEN! For what it's worth, the Ford is SMALLER then the 215 externally. The added weight of the Ford (less than 100 pounds over the 215 if you use aluminum heads) will be easily offset by the heavier
