You can get a 2 brush dynamo (which looks very similar to an original) from Sports and Vintage Motors here in the UK. I use one and can recommend them, the only thing is you have to use a modern vol

The chassis has a tapped 1/4" BSF hole. I think, but I am not certain, that a bolt was screwed upwards through the chassis and the apron was held down with a chromed domed nut and washer. Regards, P
