Bud,
You can get a 2 brush dynamo (which looks very similar to an original) from
Sports and Vintage Motors here in the UK. I use one and can recommend them,
the only thing is you have to use a modern voltage regulator / cut out - I
have hidden it out of sight under the scuttle.

My rotax generator, DDS-14, 12 volt, has died and I need a replacement. I
have heard that a Bosch unit can be converted and with an electric fan and
water pump I could use more output than I can get from the standard rotax.
Any ideas?
