- Stay away from the pumps from the big 3 suppliers. The slot at the top of the rotor shaft is cut very sharp and will break. I siezed a motor years ago as a result of one failing. I have found others

- I changed my TR3 over to rack and pinion over the winter. I did the conversion all myself by modifying a TR4/Spit rack (With SCCA I have to use a TR4 rack). I spent quite a bit of time with the bump
