FWIW, it has always been my understanding that Nissan did not export "factory" Solex cars to the US, however, they were occasionally modified at the dealership prior to sale. That would explain the 1

There is some trivia to the Solex Cars. Every time a bunch of roadster folks get together seems no one has the "real" answer. Thankfully there are some original owners around who confirmed "early" 6

I have a very old Rising Sun Racing catalog, somewhere in there it is mentioned that the first 150 cars (or so) were imported to the U.S. with Solex's. And probably all had the i.d. tag that read "13
