FWIW, it has always been my understanding that Nissan did not export
"factory" Solex cars to the US, however, they were occasionally modified at
the dealership prior to sale. That would explain the 135 mph designation on
the ID plate. Therefore, your 2000 Solex may well be original, depending on
how you define original: factory or dealership pre sale mod. They're
identical except for the ID plate. Note: the factory Solex cars may have
had other "racing" add ons such as rollbars, etc.
