- I use a pickle fork and a block of wood. The middle main bearing and the rear will require this. There is a place in the bearing cap for a bolt, believe its10mm coarse. Put in the bolt with a washer

- Yes it can. You'll need the 5 speed driveshaft, and the trans mount. You'll also see to enlarge the shift hole towards the radio because the 5 speed shifter is moved forward from the 4 speed position

- I've done it twice. the clutch comes out because its attached to the flywheel and thats attached to the motor. Some say its difficult, however refilling a 1600 tranny with hypo is no fun if you don't
