Okay... I'm trying to remove the steering column from the steering box. I've removed the bolts on each side of the knuckle (breaking one of course) and I am trying to slide the knuckle up the column.

I found my own answer! And, the answer was be more determined! Add some heat, lubricate some more, and hit it harder with the hammer. The knuckle finally slid up the spline on the column. I had been
