- The marks ought to be labeled. One of them, near the middle is DTC, the ones toward the passenger side when the plate is on the engine are BTDC, the ones on the driver side are ATDC.

- You ought to be able to get an oil cooler with an adapter that fits where the oil filter lives. You remove the filter, install the adapter (about an inch thick) then the filter screws onto the adapt

- When an engine won't start when hot, it is often caused by the timing being off. You should check first the timing, because repairs are free, then try swapping the starter.
