Austin Cambridge's are pretty common here and should be able to be found in wreckers yards. Would good used parts be acceptable to your friend? If so let me know and I will keep an eye out for these

With all the british cars I have owned I have fitted a simple switch into the electric fuel pump circuit. This means the car will start on the gas in the carbs but will die after a mile or so and hop
