Hello all I am having difficulty adjusting my SV handbrake. I have taken all the adjustment out of the threaded rod at the end of the cable, and adjusted the shoes so they drag slightly on the drums,

Have you checked the brake shoes and cylinders for leakage, and the condition of the shoes? It's unusual for the handbrake cable on the SV to stretch beyond it's adjustment, as it's relatively short
