Their was discussion a while back about the paint inside of the gas tanks to protect it from rust. I now have these out of the S5 and noticed the lining is black, but do not know if it is black paint

I took my tanks and crossover tubes to a local radiator shop. They chemically stripped them inside and out and coated the inside with a red fuel tank lining. I think I paid $45 or $50 for the whole

Have the tanks and tubes boiled at a Radiator Shop and then Powder Coat or Paint them. Finally, coat the inside with POR-15 Gas Tank sealer. Easy to do yourself. I have done 4 sets now without probl
