Hey there Listers, I'm thinking of purchasing a new Clutch Master Cylinder to help overcome the infamous "difficulty of clutch disengagement" problem. The holes are out of round on both my clutch ped

Steve--I don't know if the .75 MC is still available. This is the bore size that was on the early TR, but replaced in subsequent models with the .70 when some owners complained about the pedal being

I once put a rebuilt .75 MC from a TR250 on my '72 6 and didn't notice any better clutch action. I still had to push the clutch all the way in to disengage. I just put a Spitfire actuating arm on th

My understanding is the TR250 and the early TR6 through '70 CC52952 used the .75. Triumph changed it to .70 to decrease the pedal pressure -- about 7% I think. My understanding is the slave cylinders

TR4 and 4A clutch master cylinders will not work on a TR6. They (as well as the brake master cylinders) require TR4/4A pedal assemblies which operate in reverse to the way in which the TR6 pedals ope

I picked a.75 MC up from Moss a couple weeks ago and put it on my 71. Doesn't seem that stiff really. It had a plastic cap but your original silver one screws right on. -- ___________________________

Steve-The .75" clutch master cylinder is available from TRF, Moss, BPNW, and others. I used it to cure a release problem, as it does provide a little extra throw at the slave cyl and is more tolerant

I am in the process of a different engine swap. Though I am trying to keep as much stock TR-6 parts as possible. With the swap I needed a little more travel on my clutch throw out arm than the stock

I replaced the 0.70 CMC with the 0.75 bore. There was a slight difference in movement at the slave pushrod along with slightly increased pedal effort. 7% seems about right although I don't know enoug
