Darrell and Don, I got a NOS housing for my 69 and it is painted silver hammerite. If you check the 69 brochure you'll see the color, also Darrell you'll see the metal fuel filter, not a plastic one

They all had them. I'm sure if you look real hard you may see flatten remnents of the old felt. Besides given a slightly different oil level reading, it also serves as a seal. Regards Jim Holewka 6-

This is in regards to the front of the tire to the rear of the tire. The front of the front tires should be "toes in" 1/16 to 1/8 with regards to the rear of the front tires. Jim Holewka 69 TR6 72 T
