- Can someone please tell me the proper way to install the gasket(s) on the front plate. I read that the thin paper gasket goes between the plate and the block. What about the thicker gasket in the kit

- The piece you are referring to is like a clip with a hump that clips onto the steering shaft, it could be worn but its unlikely. More likely is if your bushings are worn, you have too much clearance
