Synthetic is more compressible. It is superior in it's water absorption
ability. It is not very hygroscopic. I have had problems with the
compressibility issue. Pedal travels too far for comfort in hard braking
situations. Synthetic works best for vehicles that sit in storage for very
long times. If you change your fluid regularly, ie. once a year, then
standard fluid works best.
