Rites of Spring

Sunday afternoon we started the engine on Gary Wiezorek's "new" vintage
racer. I have spent the last three months building it for him. It is a
beautiful car.

I consider the first authoratative BARK from a newly built engine to be
one of the more thrilling moments in this hobby. I'm still savoring it,
three days later.

Am I nuts, or do others feel the same?
