I like games like this in the run up to Christmas. What do you want in your
stocking? Certainly in Europe having a 50's car helps with entries - lots of
events have a cutoff of '65, others pre '60. Its a bit of a silly game in
that the most important thing is finding a car that fires your enthusiasm. To
keep with it the objective criteria list for Santa grows to:

- Acceptable by all venues,
- Reasonably priced,
- All weather (for The Glen),
- Parts availability,
- Club support,
- Historically significant

- Good on the road, at least for testing, ideally for touring as well,
- Old enough to beat cutoff dates,
- Unusual enough to get an entry to an over subscribed event,
- Maximum saftey gear,
- Minimum go faster mods and changes from standard,
- a long list of acceptable changes and the parts to be freely available.

In Europe the Ford Gallaxy is starting to get a following and fits many of the
above. It also doubles as sleeping accomodation for any number of people and
perhaps even a helipad.
