I've just ordered some paint called POR-15. It claims to dry shiny, even
(no brush marks) and hard if correctly applied. Guy claims it's about as
tough as powder coat. We'll see! I'm going to paint the engine bay of the
Merlyn chassis with it, as the Krylon didn't stand up at all. i also
ordered their metal prep (acid etcher, I think) and their engine paint.
Stuff's not cheap, but it will be if it works!
