It's in San Diego, Calif.--- There's a Naval Air(?) station there and the ro=
ad
course will be set up on the runway........I think it's Thanksgiving
weekend......Coronado is referred to as an island but I think it's really a
peninsula that juts into San Diego bay. The Naval station is on the north e=
nd
of the peninsula, sun surf and sand in November........I don't know how many=
HMSA spec cars(period prepared) are in S. Cal. VARA has a Group 1 designati=
on
so those cars would possibly qualify but may lack the history. It's a long
tow from SF but may be a good way to spend the holiday.....I'll decide
later......
