Susan - You are so right - it is a terrible tragedy, and unfortunately,
one that  is bound to repeat itself sooner rather than later.  It's not
just SCCA, SVRA runs many of their enduros with virtually ALL cars,
excluding the open wheel cars, on the track together at the same time. 
That's right - Porsche 910's and Trans Am cars with Fiat Abarths and
MGA's.  I have spoken to Frank Rupp about the serious potential for
disaster this presents, but hey boys and girls, this is a BUSINESS, not
a club.  Hopefully Peter McLaughlin, the reported new owner of SVRA, is
a bit more . . . well, I think he will do a fine job, and wish him well.

My sincere condolences to Mary Wolleson's family and friends.
