Murray, I had one years ago.  Don't know about performance parts, but I
remember it as a fun, underpowered car.  Watch out for RUST!  Next to
the radiator, there is a portion of the unibody that the front
suspension attaches to.  On mine, this rusted clear off.  The car
handled much worse after this <g>.  Also, the bottoms of the doors and
around the wheel arches in the fenders rust...
