I have an Accusump on my MGA Twin Cam.. have had for years and the bearings
look so darn good at rebuild time I feel bad replacing them
To filter the oil before the Accusump, I used an outboard filter (Mecca, now
called Canton Racing Products, I think)...... then the Accusump is tee'd into
the line... then to the cooler, then back through the original filter housing
( I put an element in it too, even tho its not really needed)
Ran Valvoline 20W50 Racing (conventional) for years... no problems... have
now started using Redline 40 Synthetic (the idea of even lower friction
sounded good)
The Redline seem fine also.
