My 948cc Sprite racecar suffered from fluctuating oil pressure in hard 
corners or severe braking in spite of the extra baffles in the pan. The 
problem went away when I switched to Red Line synthetic oil. I change 
the oil every 3 races now, instead of every race.... costs equal out. 
The oil offers superior protection and a few more horsepower (essential 
when your motor rates right up there with upright vacum cleaners....).
