[TR] thickness of clutch mc to slave line?

Hi,

Is it correct to use the same size tubing
between the Clutch MC and it's slave cylinder
as that of the brake line (I think that's 1/8" tubing, right?).
Is there any benefit to using a larger diameter tubing for this line?  If so,
I'll need to obtain fittings for the larger tube (from where?).
