In about October last year, we talked a bit about the reduced level of the
Zinc
additive ZDDP in non-synthetic oils. There seems to be more experience
building
about the risk of very premature wear on camshafts and lifters.

The article suggests motorcycle oil or diesel oil or additives.
Anyone have solid information about this, as opposed to what you read on the
internet? ;-)

I put away two late 70's Minis this fall with 10 litres of fresh Castrol GTX
(cue the oil-wars thread) and I'm also wondering about my "new" car, the 1988
Mazda....
