Thanks for all the suggestions. I should have mentioned that the brakes last 
worked in the 70's when it went into the barn.

I am not a fan of air wrenches and I don't have a compressor anyway (yet), so I 
tried the wrench brace idea coupled with careful application of heat. Worked 
well. The resto continues; new questions sure to come.
