In my opinion you should scrap the old mechanical clutch completely
and put in one of Herman Van Den Akkers Hydraulic models, although
originally designed for his 5-speed conversion, he now has a version
for TR2-6 original transmissions. I have one in Casper (TR3) and the
5-speed and can tell you it makes a HUGE difference. AnnaBelle's TR6
has a B&B clutch and her left leg is getting much bigger than the
right due to the intense pressure required ...
While I merely have to feather foot the clutch on Casper ... now
your only problem is to get Herman to send you one ... not cheap,
but a wonderful improvement, makes number ONE in my list of the top
ten desirable improvements to our great little cars.
