I would strongly suggest you get a copy of Dan Master's TR250 and TR6 electrical maintenance book. It is very well written and perfect for a beginner like me. Makes me feel competent. TRF sells them. It addresses all the questions you asked. He also has color coded schematic diagrams in pdf form at his web site. Don Malling |
