Your van experience sounds like a funny 9-11 story, if there ever was one!
I remember a lake party once where a guest, who also was a nutritionist,
made us through out a fine looking main dish of food.
I think my car Might be drivable by the end of september. If the boys at
the engine shop got going, it might be August! But then my original plan
was to have it on the road last May 18th, for my 50th birthday. But I don't
want to scream too loud cause their old friends, who just might cut me a
deal!!!!!!!!!!!!
Besides the tub and frame have yet to be reunited. And just when I
needed it most, my welder breaks! I borrow another, and it breaks!! I can
occupy my time with plenty of other stuff to do, but I still hate being
'thrown off course.'
Today I beat on the gearshift cap some more, heated it, PB'ed it,
wrestled it with a vice grips, also leaving teeth gnashings, before I said
to myself, "It seems like it's doing its job, why don't I leave it alone?
(Mark up another triumph for the Triumph!)
If this thing ever makes back alive again, I might be passing thru New
Hampshire sometime. What's it like up there? (I was behind a car with a
New Hampshire license plate once!!) I'm going to be a commedian when I
finish with my TR3- plenty of good material.
