Had a similar problem with my calipers on my TR6 that had been garaged for 25
years. I was able to get the pistons out of the calipers with great
difficulty and was surprised to see good looking cylinders behind them. The
corrosion
was only at the rim and I cleaned this up with a Dremmel, making sure to get
the shallow ring where the seal sits also. I honed the cylinder with a
standard
hone, but this probably didn't even need it. Looks great. Haven't tested it
yet; still several weeks/months away from that as the project continues.
