The following is from the online Consumer's Report.

Best for cold weather:
1 Duralast (AutoZone) $60 (65), CR Best Buy
3 ProStart $60 (65), CR Best Buy
14 Interstate $75 (75)
17 Advance $55 (75), CR Best Buy
26 Advance $50 (24)
33 Kirkland $60 (34/78), CR Best Buy
35 DieHard $90 (34/78)

All of the above batteries deliver a good blend of life and
cold-starting power in their group size.

If you live where it's warm:
1 Duralast (AutoZone) $60 (65), CR Best Buy
3 ProStart $60 (65), CR Best Buy
17 Advance $55 (75), CR Best Buy
26 Advance $50 (24)
34 Advance $75 (34/78)

The ProStart (3) and Advance (26, 34) excelled in our life tests.

If reserve power matters most:
1 Duralast (AutoZone) $60 (65), CR Best Buy
2 DieHard $80 (65)
14 Interstate $75 (75)
26 Advance $50 (24)
33 Kirkland $60 (34/78), CR Best Buy
34 Advance $75 (34/78 North)

All the above excelled in reserve capacity. The Interstate (14) and
Kirkland (33) had superior CCA performance.
