2-4 psi is nominal.

Suit yourself.  But once you solve this problem, you'll likely never care
again ...

And remember that if you mount a fuel pressure gauge inside the cockpit, it
should include a transducer in the line to avoid the possibility of fuel
leaking onto your lap.  Quality fuel pressure gauges will come with the
transducer, but tain't cheap.
