Hi Lou
I know that this thread is often done to death, but why get so worried about
originality when changing earthing convention, it is about the easiest thing
to undo and there are times when the drivability versus undrivability issue
can make the difference between keeping a car alive or letting it
deteriorate because it is a poor starter or won't idle etc.
I would come down very much in your court over irreversible changes, but for
reversible changes if the bits are retained and kept available to return the
vehicle to original spec, I would say encourage owners to make their cars
enjoyable then get out there and enjoy it, show it off, let others see that
a Long Door TR2 can be a usable delightful car to own and maybe some of the
Long Door TR2's that are languishing unheard of for years will reappear.
