That's why they put a hand crank in the tool kit...........
Seriously though, you might be facing the "long nose starter" thing.
I'm not a "3" owner so I really can't be sure, but so many of the parts on
these cars were changed over the years that you really should check that
you're using the right pieces. Ask me about the time I put the long leaf
springs on my TR 4. Remember those lift kits they used to put on Chevy Novas
back in the '70's?
