My wife and I used to go skiing here in Colorado in my first TR6 back in
1975-78. Didn't have a ski rack or hard top either...put the skis at an
angle in the passenger footwell and back behind the driver's seat. We
schlepped up and down the mountain many a time and never had a problem.
Don't remember having snow tires but I had some good old "all season"
red-lines ; )
