Might be worth mentioning that the OD was made by different people than
the gearbox.
I checked three housings, 22/1734/7831, 22/1734/19236, and
22/61753/3364. Only the earliest (7831, probably original for
TS39781LO) had the tag in the center. 19236 is probably from a 63 TR4;
I have no idea what car 3364 is from.
Curiously enough, 19236 had the O-ring operating pistons. I'm not
certain they are original, but it seems likely. I bought the 63 TR4
they came from in 1975 or 76, no reason to believe it had ever been
molested (until I got it <g>)
