I'd go for the genuine original - with lots of butter and freshly
ground black pepper. Fellow lister Robert Yokley and I experienced a
3A a few weeks ago on a classic car run in the UK and came across this
rather nice pub, dispensing jumbo-sized Cumberland Sausages, onion
gravy and as much mash as you could get on your plate. Fought our way
through that and as he wasn't too aware of British pub menus, I
thought of pushing him in the direction of Spotted Dick for pud. Glad
I didn't 'cos he videoed me in the driving seat a half hour later and
the steering wheel base looked to be under a lot of unreasonable
pressure. Quite why my shirt buttons hadn't blown off, I'm not too
sure.
