Hi Guys- I have a question regarding the suspension on a Herald. Currently, my
car is a good deal lighter than full weight, this as the rear valances, fuel
tank, spare, and vast majority of the interior have been removed. I had my
Herald outside today, and when I brought her back in, noticed the rear tires
seemed to tilt outwards at the top. Is this normal? I know a VW Beetle, when
raised, had the same type "topwise toe out" due to its suspension, etc, but
does a Herald? Or, could this be normal, but accentuated by the current
lightness of the rear end, and with the full weight being reintroduced, the
tires will re-angle themselves? My suspension is not very suspect- it was all
restored, and so I am just wondering if something is wrong, I am crazy, or
just something I am not used to seeing.
Thanks for any reply,
Scott
