BMW does not own Triumph Motorcycles - remember Triumph sold off their
motorcycle branch in the 1930s or so. They have not been associated since
then. The Trademark referenced the automobile branch of it.

I suspect that BMW is more interested in the motorcycle side of Triumph's
name than in the cars.
