Yes, and some front cowl letters were smooth, and some were rippled. They
used whatever was laying around. Fortunately, mine had the correct letters.
They were pitted though, and I have replaced them.

Funny someone should be mentioning the TR3B right now (or perhaps exactly
why), but there is a TR3B on Ebay right now. One other curiosity about these
cars is that supposedly they had started to run out of the letters for the
front cowl, so some actually have no lettering from the factory. This car is
advertised as 138th from the end, but it has the letters. Any TR3B owners
missing their lettering on a car built earlier than this one? (Maybe the
factory scraped together enough to letter this car? Who knows!) Cheers (&NFI
