the filler cap and the fuel tank on my TR-3A needs to be replaced. I
have a new one but from what I can tell the only way to replace it is
to remove the fuel tank!!
If there is an easier way I would love to hear about it.

No! No! No! You don't have to do that! Just loosen the two hose clamps and
remove the filler cap portion. Easy as pie!
